Issues
One of WCCE’s main objectives is to enhance regional and interregional cooperation, dialogue and the implementation of concrete projects and initiatives with tangible impact on our civil engineering community. WCCE identifies and supports projects which enhance partnerships and interactions in the region between promoters, partners and beneficiaries through the scaling up effect and development of innovative initiatives. WCCE acts as a catalyst of projects, accompanying promoters throughout the project lifecycle and enhancing the dialogue to create synergies for partnerships. Such initiatives are driven by its Standing Committees and Working Groups.

Working Groups require the approval of the General Assembly, on recommendation by the Executive Committee. They are created in an area with specific interest to Civil Engineering and with a balanced membership participation. Currently WCCE hosts 2 Working Groups. Each Standing Committee has the hosting support of a National Member, providing the Chairman and Secretary of the Committee as well as the administration and expenses. The Standing Committees are elected for a period of three years.
